The Legend of Hercules

Good thing then that Kellan Lutz is starring as Hercules in this epic origin story from Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2 director Renny Harlin. In the film, Hercules is exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love and must fight his way back into his kingdom. -
The Nut Job

The new year presents a busy slate of family films getting the 3D treatment. First up will be The Nut Job, a nutty comedy about a grumpy squirrel who is banished from his park and is forced to survive in the city. Lucky for him, he stumbles upon a nut shop and with some help, plans a heist that will save his life. -
I, Frankenstein

Aaron Eckhart's abs in 3D. That should be reason enough for you to check out this adaptation of the Darkstorm Comics reimagination of the Frankenstein mythos. Bill Nighy stars as the film's villain with Yvonne Strahovski co-starring as the female lead. -
The LEGO Movie

Someone finally made a feature length movie using LEGOs and voiced the characters with an all-star cast. The film centers on a ordinary LEGO minifigure who is recruited to stop Lord Business from gluing the universe together. Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Will Ferrell are among the voice cast for what promises to be an early 2014 hit. -
Pompeii

Game of Thrones fans will get to see Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the first of two big budget movies in 2014. In the film, Harington plays a slave turned gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love (Emily Browning) all while Mount Vesuvius is erupting and the city of Pompeii is crumbling around him. -
300: Rise of an Empire

This year, the sequel finally arrives in theaters with a pair of strong ladies facing off against one another. Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Capt. America: The Winter Soldier

Marvel's first big film of the year finds Capt. America facing a new adversary in The Winter Soldier. Captain America: The Winter Soldier introduces us to Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13 and Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier. Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow will feature heavily in the film as Cap's partner. -
Rio 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

How To Train Your Dragon 2
