There's the romance, the sinking ship and that song, but seeing Leonardo DiCaprio as a popsicle always gets us where it hurts. Like Kate Winslet, we'll never let go of that one.

Sure, its themes of death and love and old friends make a huge emotional impact. Yet, it's those awesome beach houses we'll never be able to afford that always give us reason for a good cry.

The day every pet owner dreads is the one where they must say goodbye to their best friend forever. This movie gets us there in under two hours, and we usually cry for another two once it's over.

When George Bailey learns that he's rich in friends and that he and he alone has prevented his hometown from turning into Las Vegas, the tears of joy you experience are perfectly normal. Don't worry, everyone cries during this one.

If you're not weeping due to the unjust imprisonment of Michael Clarke Duncan's John Coffey, you'll definitely be sobbing thanks to the incredible, life-changing miracles he performs. And since Tom Hanks is involved, it's totally okay to cry.
