JULIE AND JULIA (2009)

Meryl Streep gives a flawless performance as master chef Julia Child, who was the inspiration for blogger Julia Powell, (Amy Adams) who tirelessly whipped up every recipe in Julia's cookbook, 'Mastering the Art of French Cooking.'

CHEF (2014)

Ever dream of chucking it all and opening your own food truck? That’s what prominent chef Carl Casper does in this film written by, directed by and starring Jon Favreau.

RATATOUILLE (2007)

Oh, rats! Um, in the kitchen, that is. But hey, we’re talking rats that can cook. Inconceivable? Not when it's whipped up by the Disney/Pixar team who can make any story appetizing.

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES (1991)

The food at the Whistle Stop Café is homemade and delicious...just don’t ask for the list of “secret ingredients.”

JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI (2011)

Jiro Ono, considered the world’s greatest sushi chef at age 85, is chronicled in this acclaimed documentary.

CHOCOLAT (2000)

This movie has everything a woman could ever want: lots of tempting chocolate and a particularly yummy Johnny Depp. ‘Nuff said.

MYSTIC PIZZA (1988)

It's all about the secret ingredient in this coming of age flick that centers around three teenage girls who work in a small pizza joint in Mystic, Connecticut. Also known as the movie that introduced us to the star with the megawatt smile, Julia Roberts.

NO RESERVATIONS (2007)

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart star in this romantic dramedy about a top chef in New York and her hunky new sous chef.

SOUL KITCHEN (2009)

This comedy tells the story of a German-Greek chef who runs a local restaurant in Hamburg that caters to the common person. Things change when he hires a tempermental chef who is talented, but alienates customers.

BON APPETIT (2010)

A young Spanish chef works at a prestigious restaurant in Switzerland alongside another cook and an attractive female sommelier. It doesn't take long for things to heat up in and out of the kitchen. 

WAITRESS (2007)

Nobody bakes a pie like Keri Russell. To work through her disappointments and aggressions, some of her most famous pies include:  I Hate My Husband Pie, Kick in the Pants Pie and Pregnant Miserable Self-Pitying Loser Pie.

EAT, DRINK, MAN, WOMAN (1994)

This Taiwanese film directed by Ang Lee tells the story of food, fatherhood and family.  Not necessarily in that order.

BIG NIGHT (1996)

Tony Shalhoub and Stanley Tucci are brothers attempting to revive the family restaurant. Have a bowl of pasta ready while you watch, ‘cause you’ll be craving it.

AMERICAN CUISINE (1998)

This French movie stars a facial hair-free Jason Lee as a Navy cook who moves to France to learn haute cuisine under a grumpy four-star chef.

THE COOK, THE THIEF, HIS WIFE & HER LOVER (1990)

A sexy Helen Mirren stars as the wife of a gangster/restaurateur who becomes bored with her husband and takes a lover.
