Vampire and the Ballerina (1960)

Wow, this sounds almost as bloody and gruesome as that other ballerina flick – ‘Black Swan.’ Almost.

Grave of the Vampire (1972)

Ooh, the Gerber baby’s got fangs, just like dear old dad. And they’re in a spooky graveyard – which makes this poster one of the scariest things ever made. 

The Playgirls and the Vampire (1963)

Um, so he’s a vampire, but he’s also “the Devil in the flesh”? Sounds like someone is having a little identity crisis in this horror flick that, judging by the poster, seems to be all over the place. 

The Deathmaster (1972)

The Deathmaster trades in the classy Bela Lugosi vampire look for a more ape-like look, complete with (naturally) fangs and glowing eyes. 

The Vampire’s Coffin (1958)

The pinata-sized bat really ties all the creepy together on this one-sheet, which promises at least one vampire will get a stake to the heart. 

The Velvet Vampire (1971)

One look at this spooky chick, and you should “beheading” somewhere else – fast! Bonus points for including not one, but TWO severed heads on your poster. 

Goliath and the Vampires (1961)

This movie is a genre mash-up of sorts, putting Goliath up against a horde of things allergic to sunlight. More movie posters need muscular giants cradling women before a leathery bat creature. 

The Vampire Lovers (1970)

It’s Hammer time! And by that we mean the British Hammer Films who boast a 20-year collection of gothic horror flicks, including this very campy and creepy film. 

Dracula (1931)

Oh, Bela, Bela, Bela. You were the most famous vampire in the world, until Bella. And Edward. And let’s not even discuss Renesmee.

The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973)

Once again, Dracula’s gotten mixed up with the devil, and this time, ol' Drac is played by legend of the silver screen, Christopher Lee. A very impressive piece of foreign movie poster art.
