Zac Efron: Most Likely to Keep the Girls Screaming
There's just something about this Californian that makes tweens squeal. They go crazy over his sparkling blue eyes, perfect pearly white smile, frosted golden brown hair...

...and, oh yes, his voice. HSM fans helped rake in the profits for Hairspray when they flocked to see Zac as smooth crooner Link Larkin.

Zac Efron: Most Likely to Keep the Girls Screaming
Like other adored celebrities, Zac has a wax figure modeled after him, which was unveiled at London's Madame Tussaud's early October. Nope, that's not the real Zac. Fooled ya, didn't it?
Zac has been on numerous hot lists, including Empire Magazine's 100 Sexiest Movie Stars and Entertainment Weekly's 30 Under 30 list, so we have good reason to believe he'll keep the girls screaming for a while!

Zac Efron: Most Likely to Keep the Girls Screaming
Here he is as Troy Bolton, captain of the Wildcats' basketball team.
Life after High School: Although Zac got accepted to the USC film program, he deferred. He says he'll go "eventually," but before starting Trojan life, he's starring in a few more films: 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, and a Footloose remake.

Cutest Couple: Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron
Are they the next Brangelina? Who knows! Whether onscreen or in real life, there's no denying the pair exudes the joys of young love.

Vanessa Hudgens: Most Likely to Become a Media Mogul
The 19-year-old prima donna already bought her first two-story home in Studio City for $2.74 million. She also released two albums -- the first went Gold in 2007, signed as a spokesperson for Neutrogena, and ranked 12 on the Maxim Hot 100 of 2008...whew, and all before the age of 20!
Life after High School: Catch her next in the movie Bandslam, opening in July 2009.

Ashley Tisdale: Most Likely to Be Queen Bee
She may be pretty in pink, but don't let that deceive you. Sharpay Evans' tiara-trumping 'tude coerces everyone into subordination as usual. Senior Year sees her recruiting an underclass personal assistant for her cloying schemes.
Thankfully, unlike her Wildcat persona, Ashley doesn’t seem to flaunt any conniving characteristics.

Ashley Tisdale: Most Likely to Be Queen Bee
The 23-year-old Jersey girl may be known for Sharpay's signature blonde hair, but she's really a brunette with natural curls. She's also good at rising in the ranks, just not Sharpay-style. She sang at the White House at 12, became a Ford model, and debuted an album with two songs that simultaneously ranked on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Life After High School: She’ll star in They Came from Upstairs, a fantasy adventure opening next year.

Corbin Bleu: The Best Bud
The New Yorker plays Chad Danforth, Troy's best friend at East High, and is easy to spot because of his trademark curly hair. Did you know he took jazz and ballet? His passion for dancing usually made him the only boy in his classes, but he's probably used to it (he has three younger sisters).
Life After High School: He's working on his second album, and has the movie Free Style upcoming.

Lucas Grabeel: The Best Everyman
You know him as Ryan Evans, Sharpay's fraternal twin brother, and maybe you remember him from Disney's Halloweentown High. Lucas can perform a showstopper with the best of them, but instead of spotlight roles, he's tended to be a strong supporter.
Life After High School: His versatility in acting has earned him a variety of roles in upcoming films, including Milk with Sean Penn, Beverly Hills Ninja 2 and Lock and Roll Forever.

Monique Coleman: Best Gal Pal
She plays Taylor McKessie, Gabriella's best friend, and also has a recurring role on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She earned her stripes on Dancing with the Stars in 2006 -- finishing fourth in the competition.

Olesya Rulin: Best Blossoming Wallflower
She and co-star Lucas Gabreel enjoy more time in the spotlight for their Senior Year.
Life After High School: Olesya will star in another music-themed movie, Flying By, with Billy Ray Cyrus.

Bittersweet Goodbyes
Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens hug it out at the L.A. premiere. They and the rest of the cast reportedly shed a few tears when wrapping the final scenes. Their last movie together mirrors the reality of their careers -- they're "graduating" from the HSM phenomenon right before launching into (hopefully) future stardom.
Feeling sentimental? It's OK to cry! We'll miss them, too.
