Hollywood power couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander fell in love two years ago on the set of the new romance 'The Light Between Oceans,' though they've managed to keep it low-key since then. Here are other star couples who fell for each other offscreen.  

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt  

The Oscar-winning actress not only stars alongside her husband in 2015's relationship drama 'By the Sea,' she also directed him in it. It’s not their first time portraying a rocky romance, though, as they famously met on the set of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ when Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Annette Bening and Warren Beatty

One of Hollywood’s longest lasting couples – one half of which was once the town’s most notorious playboy – met in 1990 before filming ‘Bugsy’ together, and were married in 1992. They shared the screen in the 1994 romantic drama ‘Love Affair’ (pictured) and will do so again when Beatty’s Howard Hughes biopic 'Rules Don't Apply' hits theaters later this year.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell 

Although never married, this couple has been together since filming ‘Swing Shift’ in 1983. They famously took their chemistry back to the big screen in tthe 1987 comedy 'Overboard' (pictured), about a snobby heiress who falls off her family’s yacht, suffers amnesia, and then gets tricked into a relationship with a carpenter.

Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon 

Married in 1988 after meeting on the set of ‘Lemon Sky,’ these soul mates  also shared the screen in ‘Murder in the First,’ ‘The Woodsman’ (pictured) and ‘Loverboy.’

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith

The Fresh Prince met his future queen in 1994 when she auditioned for a role on his hit sitcom. She didn’t get the part, but ended up as his wife in 1997 and on-screen wife a few years later in 2001's Oscar-nominated biopic 'Ali.' 

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt 

Although these two goofballs met in 2007 playing high school sweethearts in this comedy, ‘Take Me Home Tonight,’ they were married for two years before it finally hit theaters. They shared the screen again a few months later in ‘What’s Your Number?’

Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller

Before model Derek Zoolander romanced the fashion writer, Stiller fell for her while directing a Fox pilot that never aired. The couple wed in 2000 and have since shared the screen in “Dodgeball,” “Tropic Thunder,” “Arrested Development” and 'Zoolander 2.'

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard

This famous couple can be seen appearing together on TV in Samsung commercials, but they started dating in 2007 before starring as a couple in the action-comedy 'Hit and Run' in 2012. Vowing to hold off their nuptials until same-sex marriage were legalized in California, they finally tied the knot in 2013.

Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano

The 2012 indie romantic comedy 'Ruby Sparks' marks this couple’s first collaboration since beginning their relationship in 2007. Kazan wrote the script with Dano in mind to play the introverted author who magically brings his dream girl to life after writing her on the page.

Jenna Dewan Tatum and Channing Tatum

These two met on the set of ‘Step Up’ in 2006 and married in 2009 before playing each other’s love interests in the high school reunion comedy ’10 Years,’ in which Tatum’s character is deciding whether or not the eventful evening is the right time to pop the big question.
