The end of December always brings about a flurry of end-of-the-year lists. From the top ten films of the year to the ten worst films of the year, chances are you’ve already combed through a list or several. I’ll be doling out my list of favorite movies later this week, but in the meantime we thought it’d be fun to ask you which film is your favorite of 2009.
Of course, it all depends on what you like the most. Are you a person who digs big effects-heavy blockbusters like Avatar, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Star Trek, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Terminator: Salvation or Watchmen? Or are you someone who likes quieter dramas like Up in the Air, An Education, Precious, Invictus or A Serious Man? Then again, maybe you’re into the explosive think-pieces like The Hurt Locker or Inglourious Basterds, or perhaps a fan of comedies like The Hangover.
Whatever your movie tastes are, you’ve no doubt been satisfied by the eclectic slate of films that have arrived in theaters this past year. So, without rambling on for too long, how about we open up the floor to you.
