Tinseltown is nothing if not all about new faces, and the annual Young Hollywood Awards (sponsored by Hollywood Life, a print-turned-online magazine) celebrates the latest crop of hot actors and actresses every year with a show touted as the “Oscars of Young Hollywood.” Sunday’s 11th YHA show held in Santa Monica handed out awards for “Breakthrough” “Superstar” and “Artist of the Year” to such up-and-comers as Evan Rachel Wood, Rumer Willis, Bar Refaeli and Adam Lambert (below) in a ceremony and after-party that didn’t always run smoothly (what was with the non-functional mics, and an unprepared after-party that kept a theaterful of people lined up waiting to get in?), but every year the show’s weird quirks are par for the course and make it all the more entertaining.
