'Shrek Forever After'Despite the fact that it earned $50 million less than its predecessor, Shrek Forever After still managed enough to easily give it a win at the box office this weekend with $71 million. Obviously we now see why this will be the final Shrek movie (perhaps the audience is just burned out on the green ogre and really not all that interested anymore), though I can certainly see why they'd attempt one. Heck, when your previous sequel opens with $120 million and grosses over $300 million, then you kind of have to make another one, right?

But was another one worth it? Since the film still made $71 million, that means a lot of you went to see it. Was it any good? Did Shrek and his cohorts deliver the goods yet again, or did this fourth film stumble a little more than the others? In your opinion, could a fourth Shrek film have done better if it had a more original story, and not one that was borrowed from It's a Wonderful Life?
