When Will Smith and Francis Lawrence get together, New York City better watch out. Not long ago, the director and actor collaborated on I Am Legend, which followed Smith as a scientist in New York City searching for a cure to an epidemic that's turned the people of earth into weird zombie-like creatures who take to the streets at night in search of human flesh.

While there were rumors that both Smith and Lawrence were re-teaming for an I Am Legend prequel, Variety now reports that both may once again band together for a different project called City That Sailed. The fairly odd film, which will be developed as a potential starring vehicle for Smith, follows a father and daughter living on opposite ends of the Atlantic ocean (he in NYC and she in England) whose love for one another actually causes the city of New York to rip apart and begin floating across the pond. Um, okay…that's weird.

Though Smith's daughter Willow makes a brief appearance in I Am Legend, this may be the perfect project for father to star opposite real-life daughter, especially after Smith did the same with his son Jaden in The Pursuit of Happyness. There's been no confirmation of that, but I suspect it may happen.

What do you think about the idea behind this film? A little far-fetched, perhaps? Or cute, innocent and heartwarming?
