So we saw Pirates 3 last night, but per the studio's request, we can't really say too much about it until Thursday. I will say, though, that if you loved all the action spectacle, intricate plotting, and of course, the eternally engaging Captain Jack Sparrow (even a slight wink from Johnny Depp's rascally bandit is good for a laugh), you're about to get your full 2 hours and 45 minutes worth. There are lots of colorful characters running around At World's End, and not to take away from the main stars (especially the ever dependable Depp), but full props are also due to the secondary characters -- veteran players such as Bill Nighy as the tentacled Davy Jones, Stellan Skarsgard as 'Bootstrap' Bill Turner and Naomie Harris as the mysterious Tia Dalma. Add in a couple of new (and old) wrinkles and co-stars, and it will be a record-exploding end to a record-exploding month.
