Who wants to get even more excited about the DC Cinematic Universe? Well, Ben Affleck's got you covered.

The Batman actor revealed a first look at the DC villain Deathstroke on Twitter via behind-the-scenes video of the character ominously walking down to a darkened bridge with what appears to be the Batmobile in the background.

Check it out:

Deathstroke (aka Slade Wilson) is one of the most well-known villains in the DC universe, having appeared in live-action TV shows, animated shows and movies, and also video games. He's a brutal assassin with enhanced meta-human abilities and he's such a badass that his original name was Deathstroke the Terminator. Eventually it was just shortened to Deathstroke. And while we now know the character will have a role in either Justice League or Ben Affleck's solo Batman movie, we do not know how he'll be used or who's playing him.

Whatever the case, Affleck's not giving anything away. The video itself has no sound and no real context, other than the fact that Deathstroke must be in Justice League since production on the solo Batman movie has not started yet. But with so many characters already slated for Justice League, we wouldn't be surprised if his appearance here is more of a tease for something bigger down the road.

UPDATEThe Wrap reports that Deathstroke will be the main villain in Affleck's solo Batman movie. Still, though, that doesn't mean this footage isn't from Justice League. When we'll see Deathstroke first is now the big question along with who he'll be played by. Expect both to be answered by the time Justice League rolls into theaters on November 17, 2017.
