Chances are at some point in your life you’re going to attend a fan convention, either as a fan or with someone else who’s a fan and, like, totally thinks you’ll love the experience. Part of said experience usually includes meeting the stars (ie: Star Trek, Star Wars conventions) or writers and illustrators (ie: comic book convention) or … hand models (ie: Twilight convention).
In a story that reminds me of that "Seinfeld" episode (c’mon, you know the one), Convention Fans reports that Twilight hand model Kimbra Kickey will make an appearance at the Eye Con Twilight convention in Florida this year where she’ll apparently be doing some photo ops with a whole ton of lucky fans. In case you’re still wondering how a hand model plays into the whole Twilight saga, well, take a look at the photo we’ve provided of the Twilight book cover. See those hands? They belong to Kimbra Kickey, and she’ll be charging thirty bucks a pop for a photo with her and those magical hands.
Oh, I’m not kidding about that – thirty bucks for a photo with a pair of hands! Here’s hoping they come with a post-photo high-five, or a game of patty cakes – something, anything! Currently there’s no word on whether they’ll also provide an apple or if you’ll have to bring your own, but I have to admit I’m real curious to witness this whole thing do down.
What do you think? For Twilight fans, is this something you’d pony up thirty bucks for, or is the Twilight hand model not worth your time (and money)?
