Fandango At Home
What premium titles are available to watch on Vudu this week?
Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy lead the voice cast in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, an all-new comic adventure that finds Mario teaming up with Princess Peach in the Mushroom Kingdom to find Luigi and avert disaster for the world. You and your entire family can enjoy the richly animated film over and over again.
A legendary former commando fights thieving Nazis during the final days of World War II in Sisu. The bloody action-drama unfolds in the stark beauty of wintertime Finland.
Shailene Woodley stars as a young police officer in To Catch a Killer. Her natural sleuthing instincts are instantly recognized by FBI lead investigator Ben Mendelsohn; he quickly adds her to his team in pursuit of a ruthless mass murderer.
Family comes first in Evil Dead Rise, as two estranged sisters must put aside their differences when one of them is attacked by flesh-possessing demons. Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland star in the gory horror thriller.
Speaking of blood, Renfield spills quite a lot in a new take on the story of Dracula (Nicholas Cage), told from the perspective of the titular character (Nicholas Hoult), aka the bloodsucker's loyal assistant, who yearns for a life free from blood-sucking. Awkwafina also stars in the horror-comedy.
Departing from his usual artful, breezy fare, Guy Ritchie's The Convenant allows director Guy Ritchie to deliver a hard-hitting action-drama about a military man (Jack Gyllenhaal) and his interpreter (Dar Salim) who must somehow escape from Ahghanistan in the midst of war.
Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez star in the witty action-adventure Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. They have been charged with retrieving a valuable relic but danger lurks around every corner. Hugh Grant also stars.
New Titles
Here are three more excellent films, all newly arrived to Vudu.
Big George Foreman tells the incredible true story of a champion boxer who became a preacher, returned to the ring at age 45, became a champion again, then eventually became known as the good-natured public representation of a home cooking device. Khris David stars.
Young Ria (Priya Kansara) loves her big sister Lena (Rita Arya) in Polite Society and so becomes determined to prevent her from making a major mistake by marrying. Nida Manzoor (We Are Lady Parts) wrote and directed the delightful and surprising action-comedy.
The true story of legendary record producer Neil Bogart (Jeremy Jordan) is told in Spinning Gold, which also tracks the famed label he co-founded, Casablanca Records. Michelle Monaghan and Jason Isaacs also star in the music drama.
