What to Watch on Vudu

Summer is here! The calendar may not say so, but movie fans know that the merry month of May kicks off the summer season. What can we anticipate this week?

Fandango At Home

See what premium titles are available to watch on Vudu this week!

Nothing says summer like director Michael Bay and a wild action ride, which he provides in abundance in Ambulance. Robert Pattinson makes for a strikingly different caped crusader in The Batman, which is worth multiple visits, while Noomi Rapace supplies chills in the discomfiting You Won't Be Alone.

New Releases

Deal of the Week

Our deal of the week is Kenneth Branagh's action-packed take on Agatha Christie's clever mystery Death on the Nile, now available on 4K UHD for $9.99.

Also now available on 4K UHD: Ti West's audacious horror thriller X. You can bring Channing Tatum home, along with a a bit of wildlife, in the super charming Dog. Covert operatives are always fun to watch, especially when they're played by Liam Neeson in Blacklight, which is now available to buy or rent.

New To Rent at $5.99 or Less

Blast off with Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson in director Roland Emmerich's rollicking action movie Moonfall. Emmerich's films are always a treat to savor and the chemistry between Berry and Wilson send this particular adventure into orbit.

Special Programming: AAPI Month on Vudu

We turn our attention this month to a diverse selection of amazing films collected under the AAPI Amplified / Stronger Together banner, including family drama Minari, romantic comedy The Big Sick and the sassy animated adventure Turning Red, along with more recommendations from our spotlight on Asian-American and Pacific Islander actors and filmmakers. In addition, check out our original video below on Iconic Asian American Pacific Islander Movie Characters.

This Week's Biggest Sales

Wednesday, May 4 is also known as Star Wars Day, so you'll want to make sure your collection is complete; the sale includes great bundle prices for Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga 9-movie collection and Star Wars: The Sequel Trilogy 3-movie collection.

This is a good week to celebrate Peter Parker, which you can do by visiting our collection celebrating 20 years of Spider-Man at the movies, which we've heard may dovetail well with the newest Marvel movie, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. ('Nuff said.)

Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated on Vudu from May 5-9 with sales on films like the family adventure Dora and the Lost City of Gold, romantic drama Like Water for Chocolate and the Oscar-nominated Frida.

Looking to upgrade your viewing experience? Check out new monthly $6.99 deals on HDX films, notably the mind-blowing Synchronic, Vin Diesel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage or Denzel Washington in Robert Zemeckis' Flight.

If you love to make your own double features at home, be sure to visit our Mix & Match collection, where you can pair two films for $9.99. You can choose from among The Princess Bride, The Terminator and The Silence of the Lambs. Really, though, the sky's the limit.
