The one thing you probably never expected from a Fast and Furious installment is to get a good cry on. Seriously, there is so much over-the-top action spectacle that it's pretty impossible to feel anything other than, "Oh my god that is SO awesome!" But with franchise star Paul Walker's death in 2013 -- and the way Furious 7 handles it (which we won't spoil) -- you may want to think about packing some tissues when you catch the film in theaters beginning April 3.

At the movie's first California screening, Vin Diesel was on hand to intro the sequel in front of a rowdy, sold-out crowd, and his early enthusiasm soon evolved into this beautiful tribute to Walker. Watch the emotional scene play out below.

And for those of you wondering about the movie -- well, we've seen it! Fandango correspondent Alicia Malone and myself recorded a review minutes after its surprise midnight screening at SXSW. Check it out, and watch all of our SXSW videos right here.
