The ever-resilient Buster Moon (voiced by Matthew McConaughey) faces an exciting yet daunting challenge in Sing 2. The charming musical revue that the enterprising impresario and his friends put together has been playing to sold-crowds in their small town, but they need to mount an ambitious new production in order to attract audiences in the entertainment capital of the world. To do that, they need to convince a reclusive rock star to join them.
In our exclusive clip, earnest gorilla Johnny (Taron Egerton) sits in a busy cafe, trying to convince a doubtful choreographer to give him dance lessons. She eyes him skeptically as she finishes her delicious meal, questioning how he can prove he's not a weirdo. Hearing a familiar tune playing in the cafe, Johnny bursts into song, surprising startled onlookers as well as the famed choreographer.
