Starring Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who may be in over her head when she’s assigned to a task force working the Mexican-American border, Sicario (Sept. 18) received positive reviews at Cannes earlier this year and drew comparisons to 2000 Oscar nominee Traffic for its taut drama and striking imagery. The movie (the title of which means “hit man” in Spanish) also stars Josh Brolin (defense contractor? CIA? Who can say?) and Benicio Del Toro as the titular hit man, Alejandro, who may or may not be on the side of the good guys, and is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners) — whose next movie happens to be a little project known as the Blade Runner sequel.

Fandango has your exclusive first look at the Sicario trailer, as well as three brand-new character posters. Check it out below — and be prepared to end up on the edge of your seat.
