Melissa McCarthy makes the jump from the ensemble comedy Bridesmaids to a starring role opposite Jason Bateman in Identity Thief. McCarthy plays a nutty shopaholic who steals an unsuspecting businessman's credit cards and identity to feed her addiction. When Bateman's businessman figures out that someone is messing around with his bank account, he heads out on a frantic search to find the thief.
Directed by Horrible Bosses' Seth Gordon, the film co-stars Amanda Peet, Eric Stonestreet, Genesis Rodriguez, John Cho, Robert Patrick and Jon Favreau and arrives in theaters February 8, 2013.
