“We wanted to make a crazy space adventure, but also something that’s emotional and means something,” explains director Taika Waititi. As you’ll see in the featurette below, he was the perfect director to make it happen.
The next tale from the Marvel Cinematic Universe finds the titular god of thunder (Chris Hemsworth) setting out on a quest for inner peace, only to be derailed by the plotting of Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). To set the universe right, he’s going to need help from friends like Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Waititi), the Guardians of the Galaxy... and former love Jane Foster, now the Mighty Thor.
