Johnny Knoxville and friends are back for more slapstick shenanigans and stunts in Jackass Forever, which arrives exclusively in cinemas this Friday. The fourth main feature installment of the TV series spin-off (and the first in 12 years) promises more of what fans love about the franchise: pain, pranks and a bit of parody, for a movie that will make you laugh and squirm.
If watching a bunch of dudes get pelted and pummeled isn’t enough for you, how about watching the Earth get mauled by the Moon? The latest sci-fi disaster spectacle from Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow) is titled Moonfall, and it’s about what you’d expect from the title: our moon is “falling” toward our planet. Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson star.
Other movies in theaters this weekend include Joachim Trier’s The Worst Person in the World, which has been named by countless critics as one of the best films of last year and is now on the Oscar shortlist for the Best International Feature award. There’s also the French family film The Wolf and the Lion and the mystery-thriller Last Looks, starring Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson.
