Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1 (have you watched the awesome new trailer?), and that means it's time to brush up on all the Marvel Studios movies that have lead us to what may be the biggest, most anticipated superhero sequel of our time. And those Marvel geeks who want to do it right will get a chance to watch all of the movies -- we're talking Iron Man right through Avengers: Age of Ultron -- on the big screen during one massive marathon happening on April 29 in select AMC and Regal theaters. (Other theaters are screening Avengers double features, so check in with your local moviegoing hub to see what they've got planned.)
Tickets will run around $65 for all 11 movies, totaling something in the area of 27 hours of Marvel movie-watching. Now that's a heroic moviegoing feat if we've ever seen one. As of now it looks like the marathon will begin around 6 p.m. on April 29 with the first Iron Man and continue straight through to 7 p.m. on April 30, where fans will get an early look at Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Hit up AMC and Regal for additional information. The schedule will probably look a little something like this:
6:00 p.m. IRON MAN
8:25 p.m. THE INCREDIBLE HULK
10:35 p.m. IRON MAN 2
1:00 a.m. THOR
3:10 a.m. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER
5:30 a.m. THE AVENGERS
8:48 a.m. IRON MAN 3
11:15 a.m. THOR: THE DARK WORLD
1:45 p.m. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
4:20 p.m. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
7:00 p.m. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (RealD® 3D)
So who's got what it takes to watch 29 straight hours of Marvel movies?
