It's hard to believe that it has been 40 years since we first took "a jump to the left" and did the Time Warp, which was at the center of what has become one of the most enduring cult classics in the history of movies. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, directed by Jim Sharman and written by Richard O'Brien (based on his play), introduced us to some of the most bizarre characters to hit the silver screen. There were Brad and Janet, the newly engaged and hopelessly unhip heroes, a strange handyman Riff Raff and his sister, Magenta. And of course, there was the "sweet transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania," Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the cult phenomenon, NBC's Joe Fryer sat down with the cast, including Susan Sarandon (Janet), Barry Bostwick (Brad), Meat Loaf (Eddie), Patricia Quinn (Magenta) and Dr. Frank-N-Furter himself, Tim Curry, to reminisce about what it was like to be a part of the madness that is The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
