Whether or not you like Suicide Squad, if you did see it then chances are you're interested in the characters and the greater, continuing DC extended universe. Therefore, you will want to know what was cut from the movie and what Easter eggs offer clues to the future of the franchise, particularly with regard to Batman (Ben Affleck), the Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Justice League -- including the briefly appearing Flash (Ezra Miller). Well, the below details shall fill that curiosity.

In case it's not obvious, there are SPOILERS ahead.

First, let's look at the list of deleted scenes, which have been unofficially shared on Reddit based on what was in the shooting script and trailers that didn't wind up in the final cut. Many of the excised bits involve Joker and Harley Quinn, including him showing up to the final fight in the subway station following his helicopter crash and a number of moments portraying him as an abuser and her as the battered partner who stays anyway. Another bit would have had us happier to see Slipknot (Adam Beach) killed off so quickly.

For more info on Joker and Harley Quinn, the sardonic video below from Mr. Sunday Movies highlights a lot of the hidden or quickly shown goodies that fans love to dissect. Among these Easter eggs is a note in Harley's dossier that she was involved in the death of Robin -- who was previously hinted at as being killed by the Joker in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The video implies she actually did the deed, though closer examination of the on-screen text clears up that she was merely an accomplice.

Again, /Film has a bit more info, including some details on the Easter eggs in Suicide Squad that aren't in the video, such as the one known reference to Watchmen. They also presume there are more that haven't been spotted yet just through theatrical viewings.
