Production of David O. Russell's American Hustle was shut down today due to the events going on in Boston. Russell is currently filming his latest movie American Hustle with Silver Linings Playbook stars Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
Cooper decided to forego Govenor Deval Patrick's city-wide shut-down order to pay a visit to Jeff Bauman, one of the survivors from Monday's Boston Marathon bombing.
Film Stage helped circulate an image of Cooper and Bauman meeting up as family members look on.
Production on American Hustle has been stop and go this week. Production resumed briefly Wednesday night in Boston before being shut down again.
American Hustle also stars Jeremy Renner, Louis C.K. and Michael Pena and is due to arrive in theaters December 13 with a wider release during the holidays.
