A brand-new somewhat pristine photo of Megan Fox from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has arrived online via Yahoo, and in it she’s wearing a pure white dress while smiling.

Hmmm … white dress and smiling? Do you think her character gets married to Shia LaBeouf’s character at the end of the movie?

Perhaps I’m reading too much into it, but this image seems like it’s trying to reveal something about the film – and if I were a guessing man (which I am), I’d say that white dress she’s wearing indicates a crucial plot point. We’ll have to wait until June 24 to see what actually happens, but remember who called it first, folks!

‘Hesher’ Adds Natalie Portman, Rainn Wilson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

When it comes to cute, quirky indie films, it helps if your cast is full of cute, quirky actors and actresses. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that the indie dramedy Hesher has scored Natalie Portman, Rainn Wilson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt – all of whom should add enough quirk to qualify it for a Sundance Film Festival premiere.

Hesher follows an awkward 13-year-old trying to navigate his way through life after his mom dies – leaving him with a pill-popping father (Wilson), a supermarket crush (Portman) and a loser twentysomething (Gordon-Levitt) who bumbles his way into the equation.

Hansel, Gretel … and Will Ferrell?

I’ve always wondered why more people haven’t exploited the Hansel and Gretel story by turning it into some kind of horror film. I mean, you’ve got a brother and sister lost in the woods and an old lady (in a gingerbread house, mind you) who wants to eat them. That’s a pretty freaky story, no?

Well, funnymen Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (the team behind comedy hits like Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers) feel the story is ripe for a big-screen horror/comedy, and they’ll be producing Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters – a sorta sequel to the original tale that meets up with Hansel and Gretel 15 years later to find that they’ve become witch hunters.

It all sounds pretty awesome; McKay even makes mention that “It’s a hybrid sort of old-timey feeling, yet there’s pump-action shotguns.” Right on! Good to know Hansel and Gretel grew up to kick tons of butt!

What do you think of the idea? Does it taint the classic children’s tale?
