No, Mickey Rourke didn’t go and screw up his career resurgence by breaking laws in Russia. Instead, while there promoting The Wrestler, Rourke decided to research his Iron Man 2 character – described as Tony Stark's alter ego, a heavily tattooed Russian bruiser who is in the arms trade and battles Iron Man in his own nuclear-powered armored suit – by visiting a prison.

For those Iron Man geeks out there, Rourke is said to be playing a cross between villains Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash, presumably utilizing the best of what each character has to offer. Meanwhile, director Jon Favreau announced via his Twitter feed that rehearsals on Iron Man 2 began today, and production officially kicks off in three weeks.

Rourke was reportedly locked up in a Russian prison for three hours, and spent that time … trying to figure out whether the sheets and blanket were from Bed, Bath and Beyond?

Adam Sandler Is Married to Salma Hayek? And We Should Believe This … Why, Again?

Adam Sandler is reuniting with a bunch of his old buddies (Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider) for a new untitled ensemble comedy that at one point was being called Lake House. Great, sounds like a blast! But now JoBlo tells us that the beautiful (gorgeous? Goddess?) Salma Hayek has joined the cast as Sandler’s wife. Wait, back up – beep, beep -- Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek as a couple? I don’t buy it one bit.

Then again, when you take a look back at other Adam Sandler films, the man always pairs himself with a woman who's – shall we say – a little out of his league? Kate Beckinsale in Click, Drew Barrymore in 50 First Dates, or Kevin James in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. (That last one was a joke by the way; Sandler is sooo much cuter than Kevin James – everyone knows that.)

Lake House (or whatever it's being called now) tells of old friends who reunite and … we don't exactly know since plot details are being kept hush hush, but one imagines tons of goofiness and hilarity will ensue.
