While Harry Potter fans are still coping with the fact that the release date of Half-Blood Prince was pushed back from November all the way to July 17, I’m here to tell you that said release date has been changed yet again. (Ducks to avoid the large objects being thrown his way). No, wait, before you freak out and start writing Warner Bros. an awful amount of hate mail, listen to this: The release date was moved UP two days to July 15th!

That’s right, Hogwarts will officially open for business on Wednesday instead of Friday, which doesn’t exactly make up for the eight extra months fans had to wait for the boy wizard’s return, but it’s a start.

Are you excited for the new Harry Potter, or has the Twilight Saga helped you forget all about that kid with the glasses?

McG Says ‘Terminator Salvation’ Ending will Divide Audiences

When the new Terminator film was announced, word dripped down that this first film, Terminator Salvation, would be part of a trilogy and that Christian Bale had signed on for all three films. Of course any sequel depends on whether people actually show up to watch the first one, but Salvation director McG readily admits that they’re ready to kick things up a notch should audiences demand more killer robots.

First, though, folks need to get past Terminator Salvation, which, according to McG, has an ending that may create a whole lot of conversation out in the theater parking lot post screening. He tells MTV, "There’s an arc of story [in the new sequels]. This arc will be left open with the ending of "Salvation," which will point to a "Terminator 5" film. The ending is indeed elliptical…and it challenges the audience. It’s not a happy little bow of an ending at all. The ending is tough and requires reflection, and in some degrees it bifurcates the audience. You walk back to the car and one person thinks it means this, and the other person thinks it means that."

Seeing as Terminator Salvation is my most anticipated film of the summer, I’m certainly game for more. But I wonder…what could the ending be? What could possibly require so much reflection? Guess we’ll have to wait till the flick hits theaters on May 21.

Finally, 'Saw' Gets a Video Game!

So you’ve survived through six different Saw films and all you got in return was some lousy heartburn from all that buttery popcorn. You want a little more excitement; you want to get trapped in some random torture device and have to escape…am I right? (Don’t look at me, I’m a wuss when it comes to these films –my idea of torture is having to walk through a supermarket right before lunch. Let’s see them put that in the next Saw sequel!)

Anyway, Konami is teaming up with Twisted Pictures on Saw: The Video Game, which is set to hit Xbox, Playstation and PC this fall. According to the official website, we’re looking at a third-person perspective in which you, the player, has to escape an abandoned insane asylum by dodging the brutal traps set up by the serial killer Jigsaw.

One imagines the game will arrive as the next installment in the franchise hits theaters in October. What do you think–does it show any promise?
