Oh c’mon – you know deep down inside (in places we only talk about on Friday nights and sometimes during a Wednesday matinee), you really have a thing for Blue Man Group. Sure, they may not be as trendy as they were 10 years ago, but they’re blue and funny and their music ain’t half bad.

So why not give them a movie? Variety says the IMAX 3D movie featuring the Blue Man Group will be directed by David Russo and star the blue men as, um, blue men who take over some poor dude’s brain. Yup, Russo said it’s about "the Blue Men entering the brain of a socially and creatively congested person and observing his neural patterns and his habitual brain functions and memory and altering it in a way that helps him bring his inside life outside." Okay. But will they still drop paper on the audience in the end because that’s the best part. And the blue paint; that’s pretty cool, too.

But anyway, are you down for the Blue Man Group movie? Could it be better than the Spice Girls movie?

Anna Faris to Play Britney, Christina Applegate to Play…The Other One

I meant Britney…the chipmunk. Why, who did you think I meant? In a recent interview with MTV, Justin Long dropped the bomb on that Alvin and Chipmunks sequel, naming which females we’ll get to hear behind the voices of those darling Chipettes (making their debut in this film). According to Long, Anna Faris will play one of them, though he doesn’t name anyone (Britney is the only name I remember, so I’m going with her), and he "heard" Christina Applegate was voicing another. The third is still a complete mystery, and Long confirms it’s not his sometimes-girlfriend Drew Barrymore. Miley Cyrus?

I heard the first film was kinda cute. Was it good? Could a sequel be worth the watch?

The Megan Fox Calendar You Gotta Have

Let’s face it: the only reason a lot of us actually want to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is so we finally get a chance to watch Megan Fox actually do something other than give magazines really bizarre (and dirty) quotes. She’s why we want to see the film, and so while that other kid is playing with his Megatron Mega Toy Set, let me point you toward something a little more…film related.

I’m talking about the 2010 Megan Fox Transformers Calendar of course! The calendar is now available for pre order on Amazon, and if you hurry you can be one of many who get to look at Megan (as Mikaela) for all 12 months next year, six months after the sequel comes out and just in time for the DVD.

So, who’s ordering me one for Christmas?
