Joaquin Phoenix Continues His New Career: Professional Nut Job

I bet you thought this whole Joaquin Phoenix thing would blow over after the once beloved actor (and Oscar winner) was openly mocked at the Academy Awards. I bet you thought he'd rethink his newfound rap career, return to movies and begin rebuilding his rep. Yeah, well, think again. Apparently Phoenix continues to do the whole (fake?) rapper thing, and while performing in Miami Beach recently the bearded freak leaped into the audience, got into a fight with a fan and was subsequently tossed out of the club by security. Not bad ... only next time he should collect a pile of DVDs of movies he starred in and light it on fire before making an ass of himself. That way he erases all proof of ever being someone we actually cared about.

Are you a fan of rapper Phoenix or actor Phoenix?

Jay Baruchel is a Klutz

You know him as the skinny, nerd-ish dude who got his fight on this past summer in Tropic Thunder, his geek on in Fanboys and his random stoner guy on in Knocked Up. Now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Jay Brauchel is going to bring the pain as a character he came up with called Johnny Klutz. In the comedy, appropriately titled Johnny Klutz, Baruchel will play lovable loser who isn't affected by pain. (Who wants to bet now that the number of physical gags in the film exceeds 100?) Ben Stiller is among those producing, so look for a cameo from him along with few of his cronies.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin Joins Sylvester Stallone's New Film. Newsflash: He Still Calls Himself "Stone Cold" For Some Reason

Have you heard about Sylvester Stallone's new film, The Expendables? No? Well not only will Arnold Schwarzenegger make a cameo (as himself), but look who else Sly lined up to star (deep breath): Sylvester Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Jet Li, Forest Whitaker, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Charisma Carpenter, Jason Statham ... and, now, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (according to Variety). If that's not the greatest cast of washed-up action stars ever assembled, then I'm a 70-year-old bodybuilder with a machine gun for a leg.

There's no word on who Austin will play, but we do know the film will follow a group of mercenaries who travel to South America to overthrow a dictator. Stallone wrote the script and will direct as well as star.

Question: How long before "Stone Cold" Steve Austin finally drops the "Stone Cold" from his name?
