The one problem with Inception winning at the box office three weekends in a row (hey, who wants to high five me for predicting that by the way?) is that I can't write my usual Box Office Winner discussion post because the same darn movie keeps on winning. So, instead, we'll resort to picking apart the film that came in second place this weekend, Dinner for Schmucks, since it would appear that a great majority of you have seen it.
What's It About: Starring Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis, Jermaine Clement and more, Dinner for Schmucks follows a business executive who, in order to climb the corporate ladder, joins his bosses weird dinner party where everyone brings an idiot as a guest, and the person with the biggest idiot wins some sort of career advancement.
Reaction: Critics were decidedly mixed on Dinner for Schmucks, as the film currently sits at 51% rotten over at Rotten Tomatoes, though the users of the site have given it a 65% fresh rating – proving, once again, that critics are much tougher on comedy than your average moviegoer.
