Jennifer Garner is happily married with a young daughter when all that she loves and treasures is torn away from her. After justice fails to be served, she withdraws from everyone, ultimately emerging to take the law into her own hands.
Garner looks absolutely ferocious as a steely woman driven by vengeance. Can anything stop her? We'll find out when Peppermint opens in theaters everywhere on September 7, 2018.
A Simple Favor
Mommy blogger Stephanie (Anna Kendrick) is jolted into action by the disappearance of her best friend Emily (Blake Lively) in the small town where they live. As Stephanie begins her own investigation, she learns that her friend was far more mysterious than she ever suspected.
Paul Feig, known for comedies like Bridesmaids and Spy, directs what looks to be a very dramatic and puzzling thriller. Expect shocking secrets to be revealed in theaters on September 14, 2018.
Bad Times at the El Royale
Seven strangers collide at an old hotel located on the state line dividing California and Nevada. Each stranger has a secret to bury and an opportunity for redemption but, judging by the trailer, not everyone will survive the night.
Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Bridges star. Academy Award-nominated writer Drew Goddard (The Martian; The Cabin in the Woods) directs. The twisty thriller will be unveiled in theaters on October 12, 2018.
