The chilly month of December has warmed up nicely, thanks to superheroes. The animated adventure Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (above), opening in theaters this coming Friday, December 14, has already received rave reviews. Advance word on Aquaman, opening in theaters the following Friday, December 21, has also been very positive.
To further stoke the excitement, Marvel Studios released two new trailers last week, with a third tipped for wide release soon. Let's look a bit closer at Marvel Studios' next three movies.
Portrayed by Brie Larson, the titular character identifies herself as a "noble warrior hero" in the opening moments of the second trailer for Captain Marvel. We also get good looks at Annette Bening as an authority figure, Jude Law as a menacing presence and Samuel L. Jackson as a far less experienced Nick Fury.
Captain Marvel will open in theaters on March 8, 2019. Read everything we know about the movie here.
After the dramatic events that concluded Avengers: Infinity War, we've been very eager to see what happens in the fourth installment of the series. As expected, the first trailer quickly establishes a somber mood for Earth's mightiest superheroes, yet steely-eyed determination is also revealed. Then the concluding moments provide another glimmer of hope.
Avengers: Endgame will open in theaters on April 26, 2019. Read everything we know about the movie here.
Spider-Man: Far From Home
With Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opening shortly, our eagerness to see the live-action Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in a new adventure only grows. Holland is a very appealing and modest superhero, as a look back at Spider-Man: Homecoming (above) reminds.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will open in theaters on July 5, 2019. Read everything we know about the movie here.
