Mr. Robert Pattinson has been creating a stir and a half since deciding to pay a visit to the Cannes Film Festival, and part of that stir is due to his confirming involvement in the fourth Twilight film, Breaking Dawn. While at Cannes, Pattinson told the Hollywood Reporter that he’s committed to starring in the fourth movie based on the final book in Stephanie Meyer’s series, however he’s not sure when Summit Entertainment plans to squeeze production into the dude’s ever-growing, packed schedule.
The article also talks about how Pattinson’s role in New Moon was beefed up for the film since in the book he’s no more than a voice in Bella’s head. He says, "You're playing a figment in Bella's imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn't translate onscreen as being boring." C’mon, the guy could stand there staring at the wall for two hours and his fans would label it a masterpiece.
Pattinson will finish his work on New Moon in Italy before going off to shoot the romance flick Remember Me. He’ll begin production on the third Twilight film, Eclipse (directed by David Slade), in October. Summit better get these four films under their belt soon because something tells me R-Pat’s about to blow up big time.
What do you think? Will Robert Pattinson continue to find tons of work after the Twilight series is completed?
