
MacGruber: Asked about the possibility of a sequel to his beloved 2010 comedy MacGruber, Will Forte says, "It's not a question of if but when." He's currently busy producing and starring in his TV sitcom The Last Man on Earth. After that wraps next February, if he has "a little bit of time," he'd like to get together with cowriters Jorma Taccone and John Solomon and "start banging it out." John Williams: Five-time Academy Award winner John Williams will be the first composer to receive the AFI Life Achievement Award. It will be presented at a gala tribute on June 9, 2016. Williams is probably best known for his many collaborations with Steven Spielberg, including Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Schindler's List, and for the Star Wars movies. Fast and Furious 8: F. Gary Gray has confirmed that he will direct Fast and Furious 8, sharing an unofficial logo for the film. Vin Diesel dropped a big hint about the news earlier this week; reportedly, Ruben Fleischer (Gangster Squad) was the other finalist for the job. The movie will race into theaters on April 14, 2017.
