XXX: The Return of Xander Cage: Vin Diesel has already said he will be starring in a new installment of the action series XXX, with D.J. Caruso (I Am Number Four) set to direct. Now comes word that the cast has been bulked out with Asian action stars Jet Li (The Expendables 3, above) and Tony Jaa (Furious 7) along with Indian movie star Deepika Padukone. We're still waiting, however, for official confirmation that the project has received a green light for production. [Twitch]

Beyonce Knowles: A new report claims that pop singer and occasional actress Beyonce Knowles (above in 2009's Obsessed) is writing a script about a female freak show performer in the 19th century with the intention to "gain respect" in the film industry. Supposedly, she would also star in the movie. The details in the report sound sketchy, at best, but we know that Knowles was recently touted for a lead role in a remake of A Star Is Born to be directed by Bradley Cooper. [The Sun]

James Bond: Christoph Waltz, who recently appeared as a villainous character in SPECTRE, says he is willing to reprise his role for two more James Bond spy adventures, but only if Daniel Craig returns as 007. Craig has expressed reluctance about making any more Bond movies, although he has apparently not made his mind up yet. [Mirror]
