Fast & Furious: Contrary to rumors circulating last week that Universal will soon put its biggest franchise in the garage for good, the Fast & Furious movies have at least three more installments to go, according to studio chairman Donna Langley. That's only one more than the two expected with Justin Lin's supposed return for part eight, but even then it's unlikely that the studio will be putting the brakes on this popular moneymaker. (THR)
The Snowden Files: Rising star Shailene Woodley will reportedly play Edward Snowden's girlfriend, Lindsay Mills, in Oliver Stone's movie about the NSA whistle-blower (officially untitled but based on the book The Snowden Files). The former ballet dancer dated Snowden for years and had moved to Hawaii to be with him but wasn't in the loop about his plans to leak files last summer. She's since joined him in Moscow, but it's hard to tell how big her portrayal will be since she wasn't there for the heavy stuff. (THR)
King Arthur: Those of us who loved Jude Law as a villain in Road to Perdition will be happy to learn he's taking on another bad-guy role (let's not forget he's the villain in the upcoming Jane Got a Gun, too), this time in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur movie starring Charlie Hunnam as the titular king. Law's character is so far unidentified, but let's hope it allows for some good, over-the-top scenery chewing. (Variety)
Escobar: Paradise Lost trailer: There's lots of Benicio Del Toro as infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar in our first official look at this romantic thriller set amidst the Colombian cocaine trade, and every bit has us wanting more. The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson stars as an American surfer who falls for Escobar's niece, played by Claudia Traisac.
