The Jungle Book: Jon Favreau and Justin Marks, who worked together on The Jungle Book, are in negotiations to direct and write, respectively, a sequel. The movie, which opens in theaters on Friday, has already received a wave of positive critical notices. The sequel will once again be drawn from stories by Rudyard Kipling. [THR]

She dismissed a recent rumor about Rey's mother, confirmed that she already knows who Rey's parents actually are, talked about Rey's journey and whether Rey is a Jedi. Inhumans: We haven't heard much about Marvel's Inhumans, based on the comic books about a race of superhumans, other than its scheduled release date of July 12, 2019. Now it appears the movie "will shuffle off the current date," according to Marvel's Kevin Feige. "How far down it shuffles, I'm not sure yet." He noted that since Inhumans was first announced in 2014, a Spider-Man reboot and Ant-Man and the Wasp had been added to the Marvel release calendar, as well as Disney's upcoming fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series, which is scheduled for release on July 19, 2019.
