The Deep Blue Good-bye: Say goodbye to the action-adventure movie that was to star Christian Bale as hard-bruising 'salvage recovery expert' Travis McGee. A knee injury he suffered a while ago has not healed sufficiently for him to be able to start the physically intensive shoot next month as originally planned. It's not known when the project, a possible begining to a new franchise, can resume; director James Mangold is turning his attention to the next Wolverine movie and Bale has several other projects lined up over the next year. Wolverine: Speaking of Wolverine, Michael Green has been hired to write the next installment in the series. Hugh Jackman will star, possibly for the last time; the movie is scheduled for release on March 3, 2017. [The Wrap]
Barely Lethal Trailer: Hailee Steinfeld has grown up in a school for assassins, but decides she wants out and heads to high school -- which turns out to have its own potentially lethal dangers.
