Nice Guy Phil: Jason Priestley will direct Nice Guy Phil, a biopic drawn from the life of the late comic actor Phil Hartman. Daran Norris will star. Hartman built a sterling reputation during his eight seasons on TV's Saturday Night Live before costarring in the sitcom News Radio. He was killed by his wife in 1998; she then committed suicide. Priestley met Hartman in 1992 and stayed in touch in the years afterward. [Variety]
