Clash of the Titans Though the movie did gangbusters at the box office (to the tune of $163 million, thankyouverymuch), fans and critics dinged the remake of the 1981 camp classic starring man of the hour Sam Worthington for it’s crummy 3D visuals, which looked and felt as tacked on as they really were. Things improve drastically (especially in high-def Blu) with this release, which certainly fares better on the small screen when not you’re not distracted by big glasses and messy 3D. Instead, you’ll focus on the lush and quite beautiful sets and cinematography that Louis Letterier (The Incredible Hulk) sends your way, and even Worthington’s non-existent acting can’t spoil the fun you missed out on in the theaters. Extras: Deleted scenes (DVD/BD); the Blu-ray has a wealth of featurettes (11!), 40 minutes of Picture in Picture commentary, an alternate ending, and more.
