We're only three days away from The Twilight Saga: New Moon arriving in theaters (well, less than three days if you want to get technical), which means there's more Twilight-related news floating around than empty space in Lindsay Lohan's brain. Zing!

 
The Premiere Heard Around the World
 
In case you're living under a rock (no offense to those actually living under rocks), you may not already be aware that The Twilight Saga: New Moon premiered last night in Hollywood to screams and shouts and plenty of randomness. Thousands of folks turned out for the event, which saw the cast walk the red carpet alongside random celebs like 50 Cent, Kevin Smith, the cast of Fox's Glee, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the host of So You Think You Can Dance, Cat Deeley.
 
The Coolest Cast Member Award has to be given out to Kellan Lutz who pulled two fans out of the crowd (both of whom were wearing 'Nuts for Lutz' shirts) and escorted them into the premiere as his guests. Word has it the after party actually included real wolves that were kept in cages, of course, so as to not want to attack Robert Pattinson (because wolves can't tell between fact and fiction).
 
Advanced Tickets Selling Faster Than the Speed of Light
 
Yesterday we told you that New Moon had become the biggest advanced ticket seller in Fandango history, and now today the madness continues as the film is responsible for a whopping 94% of advanced ticket sales on Fandango. Furthermore, the re-release of Twilight (remember it's hitting theaters for a one-night engagement on November 19th) is the number two ticket-seller, with 2% of all of today's sales. A few other fun facts from our recent Twilight-related fan polls:
  • 51% will scream as the theater lights go down at the first public showings of New Moon, while 18% of audience members plan to put their fingers in their ears until the screaming stops. 
  • 50% pick Breaking Dawn as The Twilight Saga sequel they're most eager to see on the big screen; 47 percent would like to see the final story split into two movies. 
  • 46% are most excited to see Edward back on the big screen, while a respectable 32% are most excited to see the return of Jacob (among all New Moon characters).
 
More Twilight Spoof Videos Hit the Net!
 
Naturally, as we get closer to the film's debut, more people are creating ridiculous Twilight-related spoof videos. The folks over at College Humor recruited Aubrey Plaza and John Gemberling for a spoof called The Twilight Saga: Three Wolf Moon, which makes it seem as if Bella (played by Plaza) falls for a fat dude in a Three Wolf Moon t-shirt instead of a hottie vampire. Also, the folks from Electric Spoofaloo have up what they say is Tom Cruise auditioning for New Moon. Of course it's not Tom Cruise – it's an impersonator (and a pretty damn good impersonator at that), but you get the idea. Watch both videos at the above links.
