Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (March 28th, 2023)
Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham adapts the 2000-2001 Elseworlds comic book miniseries, which takes place in a world influenced by H.P. Lovecraft. Bruce Wayne returns to 1920s Gotham after years traveling the world, only to find the city under threat from a demonic cult. He and his allies must face off against demons, interdimensional entities and all manner of eldritch horrors to save their home. We know that Bruce Wayne is used to fighting criminals, but can he contend with ancient magic?
The movie is a fantastic blend of horror and action. It’s a great addition to any superhero fan’s watchlist.

Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios (TBA 2023/2024)
Batman Azteca transports the familiar Batman story to the time of the Aztec Empire. When a young man’s father is killed by a Spanish conquistador, he pursues justice under the banner of Tiactin, the bat god. Other familiar characters will take on new form here: Our hero encounters Forest Ivy, Jaguar Woman, Yoka and even a character named Acatzin, who bears a striking resemblance to a certain butler..
Reports from the field tell us that the DC team is working with an Aztec historian to ensure authenticity. The voice cast includes Latin American heavy hitters Horacio Garcia Rojas and Omar Chaparro. Juan Meza-Leon directs.
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths (TBA 2024)
This upcoming Tomorrowverse installment is based on the legendary 1985 crossover event. Details on the movie plot are sparse, but we do know that the original series had DC characters, heroes and villains alike, teaming up to stop a threat from destroying the entire Multiverse. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths promises to bring intense action, epic battles and deep character development, all wrapped up in stunning animation.
Watchmen (TBA 2024)
At Comic-Con 2023, DC announced that their long-awaited animated Watchmen movie will release in 2024. It certainly won’t be the first Watchmen adaptation for the screen, although we don’t know whether this movie will follow up on or incorporate the plots of Zach Snyder’s 2009 movie Watchmen or the 2019 Watchmen television series. Both are stellar works, so why not revisit the story before the Watchment's animated debut?

2023 and 2024 bring an exciting lineup for the DC animated universe. From Batman's time-traveling adventures to groundbreaking crossovers and the Tomorrowverse continuation, excitement abounds. Whether you're a loyal fan of the Justice League or new to DC, you’ll love immersing yourself in these incredible stories. Let the adventure begin!
