A few months ago we told you about an awesome poster-art exhibit celebrating the movie Jaws at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles. Our favorite curators of coolness are back at it again this weekend with a new show, "Imagined Worlds," which pays tribute to the works of Stanley Kubrick, Guillermo del Toro, Terry Gilliam, David Lynch and Ridley Scott--really, what better directors to inspire an eclectic mix of poster art? Twelve Monkeys, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blue Velvet, Alien and Pan's Labyrinth are just a few of the movies represented in the exhibit, which launches with a reception this Friday, January 17 from 7-10 p.m. The Hero Complex Gallery is at 2020 South Robertson Blvd., Studio D, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Additional hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

If you're unable to make it in person, your chance to check them out and purchase your favorites starts Saturday at 1 p.m. here.

To keep up to date with all things Hero Complex, head on over to the gallery's website (while you're at it, "like" them on Facebook and follow on Twitter.) Scroll down for a taste of what you'll see.
