In a nationwide survey during the final weeks of December, Fandango has revealed the list of 10 movies chosen by moviegoers to be their favorites of 2015 and, unsurprisingly, Star Wars: The Force Awakens tops the list. The latest Star Wars film has already racked up an astonishing 37 box office records as it continues its quest to become the highest grossing movie of all time. Will it beat James Cameron's Avatar? Analysts feel it's no longer a question of if, but when.

Somewhat surprisingly, the second film on the list is not one of the few that also topped a billion at the worldwide box office this year. Ridley Scott's The Martian proved to be the most entertaining next to Star Wars despite the fact that it didn't earn as much as some of the other films on the list. You'll find the year's second highest grossing movie, Jurassic World, in sixth place, with other billion-dollar earners like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Furious 7 in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Rounding out the top 10 are Creed, Trainwreck, Inside Out and Mad Max: Fury Road. Check out the complete list below.
