Movie News: Tommy ('The Room') Wiseau's Next Movie Is Already Done

Scary Love: Actor and director Tommy Wiseau (above), whose experience in making The Room served as the basis for James Franco's The Disaster Artist, has now announced his next film -- and it's already been completed. Wiseasu stars as a bounty hunter searching for the long-lost object of his affection in Scary Love. Jennifer Juniper Stratford directed the sci-fi adventure. [THR]

Fast and Furious: Veteran filmmaker Rob Cohen directed The Fast and the Furious (above) back in 2001, which gave birth to one of the most successful franchises in movie history. Now he says he remains "very proud that the characters I created in 2001 are still in the lexicon." Asked if he might consider directing another installment, he says: "I always wished Universal would come back to me to direct the last one." Reese Witherspoon A Wrinkle in Time

In a Dark, Dark Wood: Arash Amel (A Private War) will write an adaptation of In a Dark, Dark Wood for the big screen. Published in 2015, the popular thriller by Ruth Ware revolves around a woman who reunites with a friend she hasn't seen in years, leading to the unveiling of a surprise or two. The project has been in development by producers Reese Witherspoon (above in A Wrinkle in Time) and Bruna Papandrea. [Deadline]
