The Irishman: Ray Romano, who has been winning acclaim for his performance in The Big Sick (above), has joined the cast of The Irishman. It will mark a reunion for the actor with director Martin Scorsese; the two previously worked together on the HBO series Vinyl. Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci are already set to star; Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel and Bobby Cannavale are in talks to board the project, which tells of a mob hitman who claims to know what happened to the long-missing union leader Jimmy Hoffa. Fear Street: Three installments in R.L. Stine's horror novel series Fear Street are heading to the big screen. Leigh Janiak (Honeymoon, above) will rewrite the first script with her partner Phil Graziadei and then direct. She will also coordinate the writing of the second and third scripts by Zak Olkewicz (Lights Out) and Silka Luisa, respectively. The three movies might be released in theaters one month after another, back to back to back. The book series is set in the town of Shadyside, Ohio and follows a variety of characters in different time periods. [Heat Vision]
