Aquaman: In response to an article about the possible implications of an underwater sequence in Justice League, which featured Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Mera (Amber Heard) talking in an air bubble, director James Wan teased: "Fret not, no 'air bubbles for dialogue' in my underwater world." The article raised other questions about Aquaman's future, of course, but we'll have to wait until Aquaman swims into theaters on December 21, 2018 to learn the answers. [THR/Twitter]

Nightwing: Who wants to play Nightwing, the primary superhero in another upcoming DC movie? Director Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie, above) says that there will be an open casting call for the role, though he acknowledges: "That is like Vegas odds for sure." In the DC comic books, Nightwing is best known as the crime-fighting identity assumed by Dick Grayson, aka Robin, after he splits with Batman. Flarsky: Andy Serkis (Avengers: Age of Ultron, above), has joined the cast of Flarsky. He will portray a media mogul who employs Seth Rogen, a journalist in romantic pursuit of his childhood crush, now the U.S. Secretary of State (Charlize Theron). The movie is currently in production in Montreal under the direction of Jonathan Levine (The Night Before); it's scheduled for release on February 8, 2019. [Variety]
Peter Rabbit Trailer: In a delightful new trailer for Peter Rabbit, a property owner (Domhnall Gleeson, above) seeks to rid his garden of rabbits, even while romancing a neighbor (Rose Byrne) who dotes on the lovable furry creatures. James Corden voices the titular character in this blend of live-action humans and CGI animals; the family comedy is due in theaters on February 9, 2018. [Movieclips]
