We already talked about the hottest stories that leaked out of Disney's D23 convention over the weekend, including the studio's new horror label with Guillermo del Toro and the premises for both Toy Story 3 and Cars 2. However, ever since those tasty little news tidbits hit, there's been a whole lot more to report on…so let's get to it.

Rapunzel – Disney will be revisiting this classic tale, which will be their 50th animated film and mark their first CG musical. Mandy Moore will star as Rapunzel, while Zachari Levi will play a bandit named Flynn Rider and he'll act as the love interest. From the way it sounded, this new updated Rapunzel looks to be a female Indiana Jones-type movie … which could be lots of fun.

Toy Story 3 – The full trailer for Toy Story 3 screened during the convention, and as previously reported it centered on the toys being donated to a day care center where the kids of said day care center rough them up big time (one particular scene showed Buzz Lightyear having his language changed to Spanish). Additional casting was also announced, with the film adding Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopie Goldberg.

Winnie the Pooh – A brand new Winnie the Pooh movie is also being planned for release in early 2011, and the fully hand-drawn film will include a mixture of five different plots from the old Pooh books.

All in all, it's nice to see Disney mixing it up again – trying their hand at CG animation and hand-drawn animation, giving folks the option to enjoy the new technology as well as the stuff they grew up on. What are you most looking forward to from Disney?
