Tom Cruise is known for making the impossible possible, and just because he's 47-years-old, that doesn't mean he still can't run up a wall going 20mph while shooting, kicking and punching a group of corvette-driving bad guys.

Yes, it would appear the actor is interested in reprising the role of Ethan Hunt for another Mission Impossible film (this would be the fourth installment), as Cruise – who's in Japan promoting Valkyrie – announced on Japanese television that he's already started work on the sequel, they're planning the story for it now and he wants to shoot a big action sequence in Tokyo.

Now we don't know if he just said that because he was in Japan, but the Mission Impossible films do take Cruise to exotic locations, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he wanted to wreak some havoc on the streets of Tokyo. I'm actually a fan of the franchise, and have no problem with another installment – but what do you think?

Green Lantern Movie Confirms Director, Will Start Shooting in September

But who’s going to play Hal Jordan, aka the Green Lantern? That’s the question on everyone’s mind as Dark Horizons confirms that the superhero film will head into production in Australia this September with a scheduled release date of December 17, 2010. Additionally, producer Donald Deline tells us that Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) will direct the flick, which means the action scenes will probably look fantastic.

Yet, all that means nothing if the lead role isn’t handed to someone the fans will accept. While, in the comics, Hal Jordan doesn’t become the Green Lantern until he’s a bit older, word is the script has him at 27 – most likely to make sure a young, familiar face is cast; someone who can potentially carry a franchise. Folks like Anton Yelchin and Ryan Reynolds are already being tossed around, and IESB reports that Chris Pine (Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek movie) is also on the studio’s short list for the role.

Who would you like to see play Green Lantern?
